Today is Blog Action Day 2010. The objective of Blog Action Day is to start a global discussion about an important global topic in hopes to drive collective action. The topic of this year's Blog Action Day is WATER. It's something many of us never think twice about because we live in a country that has clean drinking water...but there are approximately 1 billion people worldwide who are not as fortunate. Unsafe drinking water, though it may not affect us personally, is indeed a global issue and one we should all be aware of. Safe drinking water is not a luxury, it is a human right.
