About Me

Rachael Rodriguez
(Designer & Lover of All Things Art)

I was born in Southern CA in 1983. Even at a young age, I had an affinity for art. You could say, I was born with a pencil in my hand...figuratively speaking of course. Otherwise my mom wouldn't have been a very happy woman. Anyway, I began drawing at age 5 and developed my artistic abilities throughout elementary, junior high, and high school by enrolling in virtually every art class they offered. After graduating from high school, I began attending San Diego State University, where I majored in Graphic Design. After a year of study there, I transferred to Cal State San Marcos where I studied under some excellent artists who I was fortunate enough to have as instructors. This is where my art career began and my love of design truly flourished. I was trained in many art and design practices including painting, drawing, computer art, web design, film, music, theater, as well as other disciplines. I attended CSUSM from 2002-2005 and graduated with my B.A. in Visual and Performing Arts with an emphasis in Arts & Technology...which translates plainly to graphic design. After graduating from CSUSM, I moved up to the Bay Area where I currently reside. Since moving, I have expanded my design abilities and technical skills greatly by freelancing as well as working with various corporations and businesses. I now focus on what I love...art direction and graphic design. I am incredibly passionate about great design and I find inspiration in almost everything around me. I take pride in creating stellar designs and never settle for anything less than the best. I love what I do and do what I love.
